Starting with Method Schools at its launch, Jade is the Director of Schools. She has worked in education since 2007 both in traditional classrooms and as an independent study teacher and school leader. Born into a family immigrating from the Philippines and a world traveler herself, Jade is passionate about the doors that education opens for students knowing how much the world opened from her own education and inspired by providing equitable access to education for all students. Jade graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English and earned her Master’s degree in Teaching from National University with a specialization in Teaching and Learning in a Global Society. When she’s not working with Method teachers and students, she’s usually plotting her next travel adventure.
