Some Of Our Work
We currently operate two large online charter schools in Southern California, an in person sports-based program, and a growing K-12 learning platform used by charters, districts, and private schools alike. We’re always on the lookout for growth opportunities where we can bring our product to students who need it most.
Method Schools
Dr. Jessica Spallino and Mark Holley founded Method Schools in 2013 with a clear goal in mind: to build a K-12 public charter school that would end the factory model of education in Southern California, encourage rapid academic growth for every student, and manage sustainable enrollment growth each year.
Since it began, Method Schools has evolved into a leading online charter school that serves thousands of students each year. With custom-built software systems and online courses powering the way, our online learning community is led by certified teachers who have deep experience inspiring students in an independent study environment. Even as our learning network grows, we remain laser-focused on every single student, every single day—because at Method, we believe every student is our story.
We currently operate two Method charter schools – Method Schools San Diego and Method Schools Los Angeles. Between the two, we serve K-12 students in all Southern California counties.
SmartFox
SmartFox is a custom online solution for K-12 schools, offering mobile-friendly, rigorous and intuitive courses and an integrated LMS + SIS.
SmartFox was designed as a response to Method pain points, and today Method and non-Method students benefit from it.
Dehesa Method Sports Academy
Dehesa Method Sports Academy (DMSA) is a public school option for San Diego area students interested in high-level athletics training and who could benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid school set up. School and training are conducted on-site at Dehesa School District Monday-Thursday each week, with Friday being an online school day.
